You will sell the value of the Safmarine brand and work hand in glove with our customer experience partner to ensure that your assigned account base receives a differentiated experience resulting in increased share of wallet.

Deliver ocean and logistic services sales budget, for the assigned Existing Customer portfolio, through the sale of Safmarine various products and focus on selected trade lanes;
Ensure commitments to volumes are met (with proactive interventions in the event of deviation from agreements, and renegotiations thereafter, where necessary);
Meet the minimum Customer Sales calls per week (in line with internal requirements) as well as fulfilling the internal requirements of updating Salesforce (Customer Relationship Management tool) with the prescribed information after each call;
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with Safmarine segmentation strategy and targets;
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Customer Services, Finance, Operations, Overseas offices) to ensure smooth service delivery;
Understand Customer needs and decision makers, define customer value proposition in accordance with its specific segmentation/marketplace.
