Mozambique is one of Africa’s fastest developing countries with a large population of children and young people. Together with the Government of Mozambique and our partners, UNICEF works to promote and protect the rights of children and women, especially those most at risk and facing multiple challenges. We are fully committed to guaranteeing the survival, development, protection, and participation of Mozambican children.
In 2017, an office was established in the province of Nampula. This office serves as the first point of contact for government and local partners and oversees the implementation of programme activities in this region.
You will be responsible for coordination, planning, and monitoring within the co-located office in the province of Nampula. The position will represent UNICEF with local authorities and partners and will support the overall planning of the within the co-located office, quality control, monitoring and internal and external capacity development in aspects of programme planning. The position will ensure programme convergence on keys themes, such as the reduction of chronic malnutrition or child marriage.
