To develop, deliver and implement Brand strategy including Digital communication strategies. Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels including online and social media; Managing the Marketing budget of advertising and promotional items; Competitor and customer insights analysis.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Responsible for brand management and corporate identity of M-Pesa, working closely with creative agencies and assisting with new product & Services launches;
Lead the brand positioning internally and externally taking into consideration customer researches and insights;
Measure, monitor and report performance of all Marketing activities including CVM & Outbound campaigns of M-Pesa;
Accountant for planning and implementing promotional campaigns in coordination with Trade Marketing area ensuring content of M-Pesa in all internal and external platforms;
Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies;
Develop strategies to ensure customer acquisition and retention growth on a monthly basis.
Key performance indicators:
Ensure NPS leadership for M-Pesa;
Timely launch products and services of M-Pesa and update the communication platforms;
99% of M-Pesa communication aligned with the business units to ensure a good customer experience and customer retention.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field;
Know-how of marketing disciplines and particularly customer service;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strong analytical and project management skills.
