Under the direction and guidance of the Nutrition Specialist, the NiE specialist will provide overall support for planning, implementing and monitoring the status and quality of UNICEF’s nutrition in emergency response at the provincial level. He/she will lead the nutrition coordination for the collective response under the Cabo Delgado provincial Health and Nutrition Cluster coordination function, and in close communication with the national Nutrition Cluster Coordinator and Nutrition Cluster Information Manager. He/she will ensure an effective coordination, information management as well as complementarity of interventions among all humanitarian agencies supporting/implementing nutrition interventions present in the field, while maintain a daily report and communication with the central level on the nutrition situation and work progress.
Submit daily situation reports on ongoing work and coordination with partners, and monthly reports including all the nutrition in emergency interventions undertaken with specific coverage reached and action points for the following period of interventions.
